Julia was a Division Fellow from 2008-2009 and is currently an Instructor in Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School
and Research Data Analyst, Cambridge Health Alliance Division on Addictions, Medford, MA.
My background is social psychology, specifically social cognition. I am interested in health communication and investigating various
factors (including individual tailoring) that influence motivation, compliance and information elaboration. In general, in my research
work my goal is to apply psychological theories to facilitate patients' compliance and motivation and to promote behavioral changes.
I am designing and programming online experiments to investigate effective ways to exploit computer technologies for health behavioral
interventions.
